Each winding has axial and radial cooling ducts to ensure proper dissipation of heat into oil. For high voltage windings, disc type coils of excellent mechanical strength are used. A special interleaved or shielded type of construction is used to ensure almost uniform distribution to transients. Isostatic Press 200 Tons - Micafi Completed coils are compressed by predetermined clamping force in a hydraulic press ensuring that the designed geometrical position of the individual winding is maintained       Vapour Phase Drying Machine - Micafil The core coil assembly is dried by Automated Vapour Phase Drying (VPD) process of MICAFIL (Switzerland). High mechanical rigidity is ensured by hydraulically pressing at calculated forces and tightening all pressure screws.
