Range : upto 10,000 kVA, 33 kV
Applications : These are otherwise normal transformer
but with extra care taken in design and manufacture
of the harmonics which are likely to appear in the
transformer windings. These harmonics are likely
to increase the stray losses in the transformer.
Mainly used in Railways Electric power stations
and industrial applications .
